Phoenix Elementary School District #1 educates more than 7,500 students from preschool through eighth grade, preparing them for high school and beyond in the heart of Downtown Phoenix. We pride ourselves on the community we have built to give teachers and support staff the support they need for success. We offer a range of curriculum and programs dedicated to the total development of every student.

I’m a School Bus Driver/Trainer and I have worked in Phoenix Elementary School District #1 for around 30 years. Working here at Phoenix Elementary #1 is very exciting for me as I get the opportunity to pick up our students and help them start their day in a happy and positive way. Just being able to see their smiling faces as I drive up to load them on the bus and get them to school safely is rewarding and always makes my day! I truly love my job!
